WorldBag passes ISO 14001 recertification process

The LC Packaging group has announced that its WorldBag BV subsidiary has passed the recertification process for ISO 14001. Early 2016, the company was audited by Bureau Veritas. In addition to being a sustainable solution for its customers, WorldBag’s reconditioning process complies with the rigorous international environmental standard ISO 14001. Having grown significantly in the last two years, WorldBag will be increasing its capacity in 2017, focusing on new and existing markets.

The ISO 14001 is an environmental management system, which focuses specifically on improvements regarding the environment. WorldBag complies with the current regulations, and is working hard to limit the environmental risks and achieve lasting improvements within the organisation. For example, WorldBag only uses accredited transport companies that are dedicated to reducing CO2 emissions. Furthermore, WorldBag monitors and processes its waste streams in a sustainable manner, reducing energy consumption.
